Statutory Inspections (PEPCR)
Need to get your pressure equipment, boiler or crane certified?
We’re fully qualified to perform in-service, fabrication and commissioning safety inspections to ensure your equipment meets regulatory requirements.
We believe in a partnership and service approach, working with you to achieve safe outcomes.
We have a high level of industry experience and wide ranging engineering knowledge, so you can be sure that you and your equipment are in safe hands.
We operate under the Health and Safety in Employment PEPCR Regulations 1999 (Pressure equipment, cranes and passenger ropeways).
Contact us to find out how to keep your equipment safe and compliant with government regulations. The equipment we inspect is listed below.
How it works
When a PEPCR item of equipment is first commissioned it must be issued with a COI before it can be put into service. For that COI to be issued, a number of requirements need to be met for compliance with regulations (things like design verification to the relevant standards, engineering reports, manufacturing data reports, seismic assessment, non-destructive testing, pressure/load testing etc). When that COI expires, the equipment is then inspected ”in-service” and a new COI is issued (subject to anything the inspector might need, like repair). A COI typically expires after a year, so if you’re unsure, give our friendly team a call.
